Introduction

As a licensed social worker and certified alcohol and drug counselor, I work with adolescents and adults experiencing substance use, anger, stress, behavioral concerns, interpersonal conflict, and difficult life transitions. I aim to provide a supportive and straightforward environment where you can better understand what you are facing, identify available resources, and develop practical strategies for moving forward. My professional background includes school social work, community-based behavioral health, care coordination, advocacy, and helping clients and families navigate behavioral health and community support systems. I also have experience providing individual and group support related to emotional regulation, substance use, and behavioral concerns. My work is guided by the words of James Baldwin: “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” I believe acknowledging a challenge is an important first step, but you do not have to figure everything out at once. Together, we can identify your strengths, build coping skills, and establish realistic goals that support greater stability and well-being.
