Hi, I’m Corie Talano, a registered social work intern in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. If you’ve been running on empty—constantly managing stress from your family, partner, work, or school—it can start to feel like you're just getting by instead of truly living. You want to feel confident, connected, and in control again, but you’re not sure where to start. That’s where therapy can help. Together, we’ll create a compassionate space to slow down, make sense of what’s been overwhelming you, and build the tools to help you feel more grounded and capable in your everyday life. I have experience working with clients of all ages, both individually and in group settings, providing support and helping them develop insight and effective coping skills. During my graduate training, I worked with Families First of Palm Beach County and the Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, gaining valuable experience in a variety of clinical settings. After completing my degree, I continued my work in the community with the Faulk Center as a co-located mental health clinician. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). I strive to create a collaborative, compassionate space that empowers clients to build resilience and make meaningful change in their lives. I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the State of Florida (#ISW20656).
