Introduction

I’m a licensed mental health counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in geek therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness training and I’m so happy you’re here! Our hobbies and passions can offer insights into our desires, patterns, and values as well as foster a sense of community and belonging. We heal through our connections with others, and it is my joy to offer individual, couples, and group services that offer space for validation, celebration, and witnessing. I have training as a Geek Therapist and Therapeutic Game Master, as well as in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Beck Institute and mindfulness skills from the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults. I believe in journeying with my clients on their healing path. This means that I always respect my clients as experts of their own lived experiences. It is my belief that my clients are innately powerful and resilient, and it is a privilege to witness their shifts and changes over the course of our work together. I am a proud member of SAIGE (Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities), a division the American Counseling Association. If you are interested in learning more about me and my services, you can visit my website at www.tallgrasstherapy.com.
