Introduction

Are you feeling knocked off track by stress, anxiety, or chronic health conditions? I am a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping you reclaim your life by focusing on what truly matters to you. Rather than simply trying to "fix" perceived weaknesses, my goal is to help you clarify your core values—who you want to be—and stay true to yourself, even when life gets messy. I’m active and directive in our sessions, which means we’re going to roll up our sleeves and work together. I love helping people notice those automatic thoughts and old beliefs that hold them back, so they can finally let them go. I use a mix of tools to help you move forward: • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To help you notice automatic reactions and beliefs (often stemming from past experiences) and let them go so they no longer control your life or dictate how you react. These tools also include mindfulness (staying in the moment rather than worrying about the future or ruminating on past mistakes) and self-compassion ("give yourself a break, you did the best you could!"). • Clinical Hypnotherapy: A specialized tool to reinforce ACT, help you feel safer, and address emotional needs that may have been missing since earlier in life. • I welcome and support the incorporation of your religious or spiritual beliefs as a source of strength during our work together. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and have extensive training in clinical hypnosis through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) and the Knowledge Tree, and I'm working toward certification. I view hypnosis as a collaborative, natural state of focused relaxation (trance) where you remain in control and aware, allowing your subconscious mind to access internal resources and solution-focused skills. I offer both in-person and virtual (telehealth) sessions to accommodate your needs. • Hours: Monday – Tuesday (8 am – 3 pm) and Wednesdays (8 am – 2 pm). • Location: Serving clients across North Carolina. Let's work together to help you move toward the life you want to have.
