Hello, my name is Courtney! I have been in the field now for about 7 years and working as a school-based, outpatient, clinician for 5 years. My ideal client is a preteen or teen struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, or relationship issues. They may feel alone, have low self-esteem, struggle with panic attacks, and find it hard to express their needs. Often unsure of what they want, they may be resistant to therapy at first but are seeking honest support and connection. They’re in the process of discovering who they are and need someone who can help them navigate emotions, build confidence, and feel seen and heard without judgment. I work with youth ages 5–18 facing grief, trauma, anxiety, and school challenges. With 15+ years in schools, I understand IEPs, advocacy, and system stressors. I use flexible, client-centered approaches, am honest and supportive, and have experience with crisis care. I also lead grief groups and stay trained in trauma and cultural competency. I understand how challenging it can be for both young people and their families to navigate difficult emotions and life changes. If you or your child are seeking a supportive, understanding space to work through these struggles, I encourage you to reach out. Together, we can create a safe space to feel heard, empowered, and ready to move forward.
