Hi, I’m Courtney. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, and I believe the quality of our relationships shapes the quality of our lives. The relationship we have with ourselves influences how we show up for others, and the relationships we build with our partners, families, friends, and communities shape how we experience connection, belonging, and fulfillment. I was drawn to this work because of my own experience in premarital therapy and the deeper connection that followed some of the hardest conversations with the people I love. That experience showed me that healthy relationships aren’t built by avoiding conflict. They’re built by learning how to navigate it with honesty, curiosity, and care. It inspired me to help others create the same kind of connection in their own lives. I work with couples, individuals, and those preparing for marriage through an inclusive, secular, and relational lens. My approach is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method interventions, and systems theory, which means we’ll explore not only what is happening, but also the relational patterns underneath it. Together, we’ll build insight, strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and help you create relationships that feel more secure, authentic, and fulfilling. Whether you’re hoping to invest in your relationship before problems arise, reconnect after feeling disconnected, or better understand yourself, my goal is to create a space where honesty feels safe, curiosity is encouraged, and meaningful connection can grow.
