Introduction

Courtney Watson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) who earned her master’s degree from The University of Georgia. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology and brings over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Courtney is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. She works with children, teens, and young adults (ages 3–18) from diverse backgrounds. Courtney also offers individual and parenting sessions to support caregivers in navigating challenges with confidence and clarity. Courtney takes an Eclectic, Integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centered, Holistic, and Systemic frameworks to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. When working with younger children, Courtney incorporates behavioral strategies, play therapy, and expressive art techniques to foster growth and emotional expression in developmentally appropriate ways.
