Welcome — I’m glad you’re here. If you’re reading this, something in your life may be feeling off. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or navigating a big change, loss, or past experience that still lingers. Many people come to therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because they want support, clarity, or a reset. Reaching out is a meaningful first step—and you don’t have to do it alone. I’m Wendy Caldwell, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor, certified in Expressive Arts. I offer therapy and healing arts workshops both in person and virtually. What it’s like to work with me Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the mind–body connection. I blend thoughtful conversation with mindfulness, creative expression, and practical skills to help you better understand yourself and build tools that actually support your daily life. I draw from approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal-informed care, often weaving in expressive arts when it feels helpful. You don’t need to be “creative” to benefit—art, movement, and imagery are simply gentle ways to access insight, flexibility, and healing beyond words. I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen. I bring empathy, curiosity, humor, and respect into the space, and I’m invested in your growth both during sessions and in between—sharing resources, reflections, or practices that support your process. Experience & community work My background includes working with children, adults, and families across outpatient, intensive, and hospital-based settings, as well as delivering SEL programming, crisis response, and social skills training. I’ve spent many years supporting military-connected individuals and families, and I continue to facilitate therapy groups and expressive arts workshops in community and organizational settings through Create 2 Connect. A little about me When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors—hiking, camping, or traveling. One of my favorite adventures was hiking the Wonderland Trail around Mt. Rainier. Nature, creativity, and connection are not just personal passions; they’re part of how I understand healing. Let’s connect If what you’ve read resonates, I’d love to talk with you. I offer consultation calls to explore fit and answer questions. You can reach me by email at wendy.creativeisight@gmail.com or by phone at 443-782-5440. Warmly, Wendy
