Introduction

I've been working in mental health since 2008, and my career has shaped how I approach therapy today. After years providing crisis services, substance use treatment, and mental health support in community settings—including at Cook County Jail—I earned my master's degree in 2013 and opened my own practice. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), I now work primarily with adults, drawing on deep experience with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I bring specialized knowledge in addiction and substance use recovery, mood disorders, family-of-origin work, and culturally responsive care for Latine clients. I offer telehealth sessions and accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna Healthcare, MultiPlan, and Health Smart.
