Crystal Hipkins

Crystal is a Resident Counselor who attended Liberty University for her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE) for licensure. She currently holds a credential for Trainee for Qualified Mental Health Professional Adult/Child in the state of Virginia, USA. (# 0734007048). She is a certified SYMBIS facilitator for premarital couples counseling. She has worked with adults of many nationalities. She has experience with issues such as anxiety, depression, career counseling, self-esteem, and relationships. Crystal spent part of her childhood abroad due to her father’s civil service career. Since 2008, she has lived few years each in Qatar, Chile, and South Korea with her husband and children. This overseas experience has helped her to develop problem solving skills and empathy which make her uniquely suited for assisting individuals in navigating many of life’s challenges. She is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society (CSI), Rho Eta Sigma Epsilon Chapter. She is also an alumnus of Regent University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a background in real estate. She enjoys activities such as roller skating, sewing, reading, and cooking. Her therapy approach is eclectic with an emphasis on Person-Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She offers integration of spirituality in counseling upon client request.
