My approach is exploratory yet reasonably structured, helping you untangle patterns and emotions that shape your current challenges. I listen with both past and present in mind to help address complex issues at their source. However, brief, solution-focused therapy is also welcome, and I have experience offering that. Therapy can happen in “chapters,” and no goal is too small to be worth addressing. We work at your pace. Clients appreciate how I keep us focused while asking questions that encourage deeper self-understanding. Ideally, this creates shifts that improve how you relate to yourself and others, long after therapy ends. We will use concrete coping skills when needed, but they are not automatically the main focus. I’m adaptable and happy to adjust our approach when needed, or when you request it. The therapeutic relationship is extremely important to me, and I value open communication. You will not need to tiptoe around me or worry about giving constructive feedback. We do not always have to agree, and I see us as equals. Offering an affirming space where clients can bring their whole selves without needing to manage my reactions or feelings is one of the most valuable things I can offer. This is the foundation for powerful, effective therapy. If you’re curious about working together, I’d be glad to schedule a brief consultation to see if it feels like a good fit. I offer exclusively telehealth therapy to clients who are located in Florida or Massachusetts during sessions.
