Introduction

Are you tired of being told to just "try harder" or "let it go"? Living with PTSD or ADHD can feel like running a marathon with no finish line. Standard therapy often misses the mark because it doesn't account for the unique ways trauma and neurodivergence impact your nervous system. At Tranquil Waters Counseling, we specialize in helping individuals who are dealing with: • Chronic Overwhelm & Executive Dysfunction: Struggling to start tasks, organize your day, or feeling paralyzed by a never-ending to-do list. • Emotional Flashbacks & Hypervigilance: Feeling constantly on edge, easily triggered by relationships, or hijacked by past traumas that refuse to stay in the past. • The Exhaustion of Masking: Draining your energy trying to appear "normal" and holding it together for the rest of the world. • Nervous System Burnout: Feeling utterly depleted, misunderstood, and disconnected from your own body and needs. You don't need a therapist to "fix" you; you need a collaborative partner to help you untangle the survival responses that are no longer serving you. Our Therapeutic Approach • We move beyond basic talk therapy by utilizing evidence-based modalities designed specifically for trauma recovery and ADHD management. • Internal Family Systems (IFS): We help you understand and heal the different "parts" of yourself—especially the inner critics and protectors that developed to help you survive PTSD. • Trauma-Informed CBT: We work together to identify the deeply ingrained thought patterns that fuel anxiety and executive dysfunction, replacing them with practical, brain-based strategies. • Existential Exploration: We hold space for you to rediscover your authentic identity, purpose, and values underneath the layers of trauma and neurodivergent masking. (Note for prospective clients: We provide a deeply affirming, secular therapeutic environment, with Christ-informed counseling available strictly upon request for those who desire faith-based integration.) Expert Care, Covered by Your Network Navigating insurance shouldn't trigger your anxiety. We know that managing ADHD and Trauma requires consistent support, which is why Tranquil Waters Counseling is proud to be a fully credentialed, in-network provider for Premera and Regence. If you are paying out-of-pocket, our standard rates are clear and straightforward: $165-$200 per session. Ready to stop just surviving and start living? Taking the first step is often the hardest part, especially when dealing with executive dysfunction or trauma-related anxiety. We've made it as simple as possible. No pressure, no awkward phone tag—just a brief conversation to see if we are the right fit for your healing journey. Prefer to Text/Call? Reach out directly at (360) 674-0787. 2-4 Caseload Spots will be held for financial hardship/sliding scale at $100-120 per session.
