My role as a therapist is that of a fellow-human that joins you on this chapter of your journey. Think of us together on a walk. On our walk, we encounter the natural elements that both slow us down with fatigue and overwhelm, and also motivate us with inspiration and delight. What makes this journey bearable, do-able, and sometimes even fun is that we are together. You are not alone. The safety I intend to cultivate for you provides the atmosphere for inquiry, exploration, curiosity, and growth. I want you to know that many times, this journey can be arduous. Pain is not comfortable or easy. But, you can also expect a willing other who is committed to creating an atmosphere of compassion and understanding. I think of myself as an emotional and somatically oriented, trauma informed, experiential therapist. My work is influenced by Gestalt, Somatic Experiencing, AEDP, Attachment research, parts work, and cognitive-behavioral theory. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. Give me a call for a phone consultation. I am licensed in New Mexico and Montana
