Introduction

With more than 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, practical tools, and hope. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to make lasting changes. I specialize in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. I strive to help young people develop resilience, confidence, healthy coping skills, and stronger relationships while partnering closely with parents throughout the therapeutic process. I also have extensive experience working with men. Many men have spent years believing they must handle life's struggles alone, making it difficult to talk about stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, anger, or major life transitions. I provide a straightforward, nonjudgmental approach that helps men build emotional resilience, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and rediscover a sense of purpose without sacrificing their identity as men. In addition, I work with women who have experienced trauma, including childhood abuse, relationship trauma, betrayal, grief, and other painful life experiences. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and focused on helping women move beyond survival toward healing, renewed confidence, and emotional freedom. My counseling style integrates evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed interventions, attachment-focused approaches, and mindfulness—while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and centered on helping clients create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're seeking support for your child, navigating the challenges of adolescence, struggling with life's demands as a man, or healing from trauma as a woman, or just need someone to listen to you and help figure it out I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
