Introduction

I specialize in supporting individuals with trauma histories and am committed to helping men and woman overcome relationship issues, poor self-confidence, symptoms of anxiety, and difficulties with alcohol use. I am passionate about supporting Law Enforcement, First Responders, Veterans, Military Members and their Spouses and families. With over 13 years of counseling experience, I specialize in trauma-informed care that blends evidence-based modalities—like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)—with holistic, somatic, and solution-focused support. I honor your lived experience and believe deeply in your capacity to heal from those experiences and live a meaningful, empowered, and healthy life. When appropriate, I also offer sessions that get us outside and moving through walking or Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, a powerful modality that fosters emotional insight, regulation, and connection through work with horses. About Dana: I'm a military spouse and a mother. Our lives can be a wild ride and I enjoy integrating humor into my personal and professional lives when appropriate. A little endorphin boost through laughter can support the reintegration of body and mind during challenging times.
