I am a current graduate student hoping to achieve my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Felician University and an intern at Hope and Healing Counseling Services. I was drawn to the mental health field because I have always had a passion for helping others feel heard, understood, and supported, especially during difficult times in their lives. My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, strengths-based techniques, and person-centered approaches depending on each client’s personal needs. I believe that creating a safe and trusting relationship is an important part of helping clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and working toward meaningful change. I am passionate about working with adolescents and young adults who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, academic challenges, self-esteem concerns, major life transitions, and family difficulties. In sessions, I strive to provide a supportive and understanding environment while helping clients recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward goals that are meaningful to them. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, trying new things, and spending time with my cats!
