Danica is a multiculturally-sensitive Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in the non-profit, faith-based, Ambulatory and acute care medical settings, specializing in high-risk antepartum women, perinatal grief and loss, postpartum mood disorders (PMADs), substance abuse, adoptions, end of life, and female cancers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and is completing her Ph.D. in Psychology. She has completed additional coursework as a Clinical Trauma Professional from the International Trauma Training Institute (ITTI), EMDR I, Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy training from Postpartum Support International (PSI), and is Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C).
