Introduction

Welcome to Bird Creek Behavioral Health! We’re glad you’re here. We know that stigma around mental health and substance use makes it harder to reach out for help. Taking the step to begin treatment—whether for mental health concerns, addiction recovery, or both—takes courage, and the biggest step is already behind you! At Bird Creek Behavioral Health, we put the PERSON first - you are not a diagnosis, disease, or condition! Expect to be treated with respect, honesty, and compassion at every step. We’re here to listen, support your growth, and help you navigate challenges with care and professionalism. We offer a full range of treatment for general psychiatric conditions such as major depression, anxiety and panic disorders, grief, PTSD, insomnia, bipolar disorder, and ADD/ADHD. Looking for a thorough assessment, second opinion, support with stopping medication, court-directed evaluation or other concern? We offer single appointment consultations in addition to long/short-term care to meet your needs. __________________________ Concerned about substances and ready for change? At Bird Creek Behavioral Health, we use a combination of therapy and medication to help you reach your goals - even if they don't include sobriety. If you are interested in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), we offer office-based treatment for opioid use with Suboxone/Subutex, medications to reduce alcohol craving or relapse (Naltrexone, Acamprosate, Antabuse), and treatments for stimulant, tobacco and other substance use. Your experiences, strengths, and values matter - together, we will develop a plan of care that’s personalized, practical, and based on proven methods. We’ll work with you to understand your goals and create a treatment plan that fits your life and needs. Ready to get started? Let’s go! Warmly, Dr. Dan Lavin, DO Board Certified General Psychiatrist Board Certified Addiction Psychiatrist
