Background: I earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, and later completed a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience supporting individuals in both community-based and private practice settings, where I have worked with diverse populations navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. My transition from the business and finance world into a healing profession was inspired by my own mental health journey. Through deep personal reflection and the exploration of my inner world, I discovered the transformative power of self-awareness, compassion, and intentional living. This process illuminated the beauty of becoming a well-centered and value-aligned human—an experience that now shapes my therapeutic approach and fuels my passion for helping others cultivate clarity, resilience, and authentic connection in their own lives. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and am dedicated to creating an inclusive, affirming, and accessible therapeutic environment where all clients feel respected and understood. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both Spanish and English and am especially passionate about increasing access to culturally responsive care within the Latino community, while welcoming clients from all backgrounds. Approach: I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities to provide a comprehensive, mind-body approach to healing. My work draws on narrative therapy, parts work and inner-child healing, somatic therapy, neuropsychological approaches, and mindfulness-based practices. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based modality that helps clients process and resolve past traumatic experiences. I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, attachment and relationship challenges, cultural concerns, high-performance pressures, trauma, and the psychological impact of chronic illness. My approach to therapy is collaborative and empowering, honoring clients as the artists of their own stories. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their family and community systems, identity, and lived experiences, fostering growth, insight, and healing.
