Do you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or on edge and aren’t sure why? Does it feel like you’re constantly in survival mode? Maybe your nervous system feels stuck on high alert or you cycle between hyper-vigilance, emotional numbness, and chronic shame. If you’ve tried traditional talk therapy and felt like it only scratched the surface, you’re not alone. Hi, I’m Daniella! I’m a pre-licensed therapist in specialized care for adults navigating long-term effects of complex trauma (C-PTSD). Healing from C-PTSD isn’t about “getting over it.” It’s about helping your nervous system learn that it’s finally safe to live, not just survive. When trauma is chronic or rooted in early life experiences, healing isn’t just about insight, it’s about nervous system change. Many people are understandably cautious about trauma therapy, especially if they’ve been told they need to revisit painful memories right away. For complex trauma, that approach can feel overwhelming or destabilizing. That’s not how I work. We begin by building stability and internal resources, practical tools that support grounding, nervous system regulation, and a greater sense of internal control. Only when your system is ready do we move into deeper processing. Why this work matters to me. I’m not only trained in this work, I’m deeply connected to it. As someone with lived experience and as an advocate for greater understanding of complex trauma, I’m committed to supporting more informed approaches to how C-PTSD is recognized in clinical spaces and in the broader conversation. I bring both clinical training and lived insight into the room, creating a space that is informed and attuned. My approach integrates EMDR with a staged, evidence-based framework for complex trauma recovery. Together, we: o Build nervous system resilience and emotional regulation o Understand the “why” behind triggers and coping patterns o Gently reprocess trauma without overwhelm o Replace survival-based patterns with more stable and adaptive ways of being This work is not just about symptom management. It’s about creating meaningful, lasting change. The goal is to support you in moving from survival mode into post-traumatic growth. Sessions are under the supervision of a licensed clinician within a collaborative clinical environment. If you’re ready for a specialized approach, I welcome the conversation. ~ Daniella Cracknell, MSW “I have been bent and broken, but I hope into better shape.” ~ Charles Dickens, Great Expectations
