It takes a lot of courage to make a decision to change and become a better version of yourself or go through major transitions in your life, whether they are voluntary or due to something outside of your control. My focus is to help others find their way through these difficult turning points and toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life, which can sometimes mean working through past and present barriers, strengthening your identity and confidence, grieving losses, and clarifying who you want to be and the kind of life you want to live. My most widely used methods are cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), person-centered, Gottman, and solution-focused therapy. I have experience with many marginalized and non-traditional lifestyles and diverse people and communities. Whoever you are, you deserve respectful, compassionate care given wholeheartedly and without judgment. I work with adults and teens, virtual only because I just really like not having to put on shoes to go to work, except my rainbow bunny house shoes.
