Danielle Brown is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland and the District of Columbia and Resident in Counseling in Virginia. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is passionate about helping people pursue emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness—healing from the inside out and moving toward lasting wholeness. Danielle has supervised clinical experience providing individual, group, and family counseling to adolescents facing behavioral health and substance-use challenges. She brings compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a faith-centered, whole-person perspective to the counseling relationship. She believes life's challenges do not define a person and that, with support, healing and hope are possible beyond trauma. She believes second chances are a gift to us all and with the right tools, we can make the most of it. Danielle was once the person on the other side. She is a wife, sister, friend, employee, and wears many other hats, but the one she wears most near and dear is her motherhood. As a mother of a child with learning differences, she has sat in the seat many families might find themselves in. She once felt defeated and voiceless sitting in IEP meetings, counseling sessions, and environments where the difference of her child carried a weight that felt much too heavy to carry. She has seen it with her own eyes how life can turn around for the better. Danielle is ready to help guide you to the place you want to be.
