Introduction

ABOUT ME Hello! My name is Danielle and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am passionate about working with children and families to find hope, healing, and strength to live a healthy and whole life today. I offer child play therapy, family therapy and parent only sessions. MY APPROACH I strive to meet clients and families where they are and work together to develop the best person-centered treatment plan to meet their goals. Throughout my education and practice, I have worked with children and families within school settings and child welfare and hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Adoptive and Foster Family Therapy. I utilize aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment theory, system theories and play therapy to meet the needs of children (age 10 and under) and their families. Additionally, I offer Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to increase attachment bonds and enhance the parent child relationship. As a professional counselor who is also a Christian, I see every adult and child as made in the image of God and worthy and love and care. Whether or not you are a person of faith, it's my goal to serve every client in a way that makes them feel loved and comfortable. If requested, I am happy to incorporate faith into sessions, but I only do this by request. When I am not in the play therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children, drinking fancy coffee, camping, cooking, and having dance parties. CONTACT ME If you are interested in learning more about receiving counseling for yourself, your child or your family, please contact me for a free 15 minute consultation.
