As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, my goal is to help clients face life’s challenges in a way that feels more manageable and empowering. Starting therapy can be difficult—and so can the work that comes with it. But you’ve already overcome so much. What made that possible? The strengths and skills you already have. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and change—though many underestimate just how capable they truly are. I work collaboratively with clients to identify and build upon their existing strengths while developing new skills and strategies to navigate current challenges. This approach allows you to take an active role in your treatment and maintain a sense of control throughout the process. I am direct and honest in my work, while also remaining supportive, compassionate, and understanding. My background as a teacher, school counselor, and therapist provides me with a unique perspective and skill set when working with individuals facing a wide range of concerns. I have several years of experience in therapeutic day school settings, supporting clients with anxiety, ADHD, autism, academic challenges, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, school refusal, social difficulties, personality disorders, and trauma. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Sociology from Marquette University and my Master’s degree in School and Clinical Counseling from Roosevelt University. I hold a Professional Educator License in School Counseling as well as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credential.
