Darla Barnes is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas and an educator with more than 20 years of experience as a teacher and school leader. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and continues to work in education. Her firsthand experience helps her understand the demands educators face and the challenge of caring for others while managing responsibilities at work and home. Darla supports educators and women who may be experiencing anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, or life transitions. She understands that even those who appear to have it all together can feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of what they need. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Drawing from solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and person-centered approaches, Darla helps clients recognize their strengths, explore unhelpful thought patterns, set boundaries, and work toward goals that matter to them. She believes therapy should be a place where clients feel heard and supported as they find their own way forward.
