Introduction

Darlys received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Counseling from Liberty University and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She is licensed to practice in Texas under the supervision of Shaun Burrow, PhD, LPC-Supervisor (#63973). Darlys enjoys working with both individuals and couples, especially those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family of origin issues, and relationship concerns. Her passion is providing a nonjudgmental environment for people to work through life challenges for greater freedom, meaning, and joy in their lives. With a focus on each person’s unique context and needs, her approach is to both address present, immediate concerns and identify ongoing patterns of thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships to move toward deeper healing. Darlys is EMDR trained, as well.
