Introduction

As the founder of Through the Fire Counseling, I bring both personal experience and professional training to the counseling room. My years in the U.S. Navy taught me about perseverance, purpose, and the importance of brotherhood. My later journey into counseling revealed the deep need for healing that integrates both mind and spirit. I earned my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Middle Tennessee State University, where I was trained in evidence-based therapeutic practices. But more importantly, I believe true healing comes when clinical insight meets biblical truth. I approach every client with empathy, accountability, and hope, creating a space where faith and mental health can coexist without compromise.
