Looking for a counselor can be a stressful process and I hope the information here helps you get to know a little bit about me and my approach to therapy. I am a Veteran, former Air Force Officer, and Aerospace Engineer who chose to pursue a career in mental health out of a desire to help others. I recognize each client as a unique individual and I am committed to providing personalized care to support your mental health goals and overall wellness. I support you in exploring issues, setting goals, and determining what treatment approaches are right for you. My counseling style is person-centered and places emphasis on the importance of the counselor-client therapeutic relationship in achieving positive outcomes. I draw from a variety of evidence-based, cognitive behavioral approaches with interest in mindfulness and self-compassion. I strive to provide professional, personalized care in a safe, supportive space and treat every client with dignity and respect. I accept private / self-pay at this time and offer a sliding scale for individuals who demonstrate financial need. I offer both In-person and Telehealth sessions.
