Hey there! I'm passionate about creating a safe space for healing and growth through deep empathy, genuine curiosity, and individualized care. I also enjoy integrating faith and spirituality in the counseling process when this is important to you. For individuals, I integrate various counseling approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. For couples, I integrate the Gottman Method with Emotionally Focused Therapy. I'm also a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator. Regarding my educational background, I earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Texas A&M University in 2016 and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Christian Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Regarding my work background, I began my helping career as a Medical Case Manager for people living with HIV in Texas where I helped individuals and their loved ones adjust to life with chronic illness, navigate social services, and align their actions with their values. Since then, I've worked as an Admissions Counselor and a Development Officer at Southeastern. As an Admissions Counselor, I helped prospective students align their personal and vocational aspirations with their academic journeys. As a Development Officer, I helped couples and individuals live out their passions through giving. In church settings, I've led support groups for men struggling with sexual addiction. As a result of these experiences, I'm comfortable working with a wide array of people. When I'm not counseling, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons. My hobbies include hiking, grilling, disc golf, singing, and reading.
