Introduction

A lot of men spend years holding it together and looking fine on the outside. If that sounds familiar, therapy with me is a place where you don't have to keep that up. You can say what's actually going on, even if you're not sure how to put it into words yet. I work with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. Some of the men I see feel stuck, some feel like their mind never slows down, and some just know something needs to change. We'll figure out what's happening together, at a pace that works for you. My approach is practical and down to earth. I use EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and sometimes creative approaches drawn from my background in expressive arts. The goal is for you to understand your thoughts and feelings well enough that they stop making decisions for you. I've been a therapist for almost ten years, and I still care about this work as much as I did when I started. I'm also a musician and visual artist, and I try to bring the same honesty to therapy that I bring to making art. I don't pretend to have it all figured out, and I won't expect you to either. If you're curious whether we'd be a good fit, request a free consultation. It's a low-pressure way to see how it feels to talk.
