Reaching out for therapy can be overwhelming and difficult during times of need. From the impact of growing up in a family affected by addiction, to struggles with anxiety or depression, or even navigating challenges in a relationship, it is perfectly natural to sometimes need help traversing life in the most healthy way we can. The experience of feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure are not something to be ashamed of. These are natural parts of life and together we can move towards clarity, balance, and emotional relief. My goal for everyone seeking help from me is to provide a calm, supportive environment free of judgement where speaking openly and honestly should feel natural. Therapy is collaborative, and we will only move at a pace that feels right for you individually. Whether we work through family conflict, body image concerns, self-esteem, major life transitions, or stress in general, our sessions should help you gain insight and develop coping strategies to find a more grounded day-to-day experience in life. My name is Dawn Gibbons and I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with adults and older adults in-person and via telehealth sessions. Meaningful change happens when you feel understood, safe, and supported. These are my highest priority. If you're considering therapy, I would love to help you take that next step on your mental health journey towards a grounded and balanced mind.
