Welcome, I'm Glad You're Here I believe many people come to therapy feeling as though they are failing, when in reality they have often been carrying more than they were ever meant to hold alone. At times, people reach a place where they are looking for more than symptom relief, they want to better understand themselves, create healthier patterns, and find an approach that supports them as a whole person. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Integrated Mental Health Professional, I provide trauma-informed care that recognizes the connection between emotional health, relationships, personal values, and overall wellness. My goal is to create a space where individuals and families feel supported in exploring their experiences, building resilience, and moving toward a more authentic and balanced life. My Focus I specialize in working with teens, women, young adults and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation. Many of my clients are seeking greater clarity, healthier coping strategies, improved relationships, and a stronger sense of self. In addition to individual therapy, I offer specialized services in integrated mental health, parent coaching, and Christian-informed therapy. **Integrated mental health services** provides a whole-person perspective by exploring the many factors that influence mental health, including stress regulation, mindfulness, movement, nutrition, sleep, relationships, and daily wellness practices. This approach recognizes that emotional well-being is connected to how we care for ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. **Parent coaching** provides guidance and support for parents who want to strengthen their relationships with their children, better understand emotional needs, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, and develop practical strategies for navigating parenting challenges. **Christian-informed therapy** is available for those who desire faith to be incorporated into their therapeutic journey. This approach integrates clinical care with personal beliefs, values, and spiritual reflection in a way that is respectful, individualized, and guided by the client’s preferences. My Approach My therapeutic approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, and other individualized interventions based on each person’s needs and goals. I view therapy as a collaborative process where you are met with understanding and respect. Together, we explore your experiences, identify patterns, develop practical skills, and create a path forward that aligns with your goals. My Communication Style I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can show up as you are. My communication style is warm and reflective, using active listening and thoughtful exploration to help you feel understood while navigating challenges at a pace that feels comfortable. My Journey to Mental Healthcare My journey in social work began over 13 years ago, and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 8 years. Throughout my career, I have supported children, teens, adults, couples, and families across California and Arizona in clinical, educational, and community settings. Beyond clinical practice, I have spent over a decade mentoring and educating future social workers. I have partnered with schools, universities, and community organizations to provide mental health education, trauma-informed support, and opportunities that strengthen access to care. As a Certified Integrated Mental Health Professional, I bring an expanded perspective on the many influences that shape mental health and healing. My work is grounded in supporting the emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual aspects that contribute to overall well-being. My Goals for You Therapy begins by understanding your story, your needs, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we create a personalized approach that supports growth, resilience, and lasting change. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can reconnect with your strengths, develop greater self-awareness, and move forward with confidence and authenticity. Our First Session During our first session, we will complete an intake, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin exploring your needs and goals. This is also an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we are a good fit. A strong therapeutic relationship is an important foundation for meaningful work, and my hope is that you feel comfortable beginning this process.
