I work with adult clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma, often related to relationships and life transitions. I enjoy helping people understand the underlying reasons for what they are feeling and experiencing. Relationships are an important dynamic to examine as we journey to understand the sources of distress. Past experiences can shape a person’s view of self and others, sometimes interfering with well-being. Present-day dynamics are also explored to understand how you're feeling in your everyday life, whether at work, socially, or at home, and to gauge your level of comfort and connection. The primary goal of therapy is to help you feel emotionally and physically better. Together we will explore whether change is needed in your life patterns or whether your concerns stem from external sources. Using clinically proven strategies, we will work together to reduce the impact depression, anxiety, and trauma have on your life. As a psychologist with decades of experience supporting individuals affected by abuse, I provide a treatment plan that allows space to safely examine experiences of trauma and develop self-care, safety, and healing. Above all, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and valued.
