LPC - A; Supervised by Emily K. Slaughter, LPC-S Root & Bloom Therapy
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Abuse Survivors, Anger Management,

Introduction

I'm a native New Yorker who has called Austin home for 20 years. I have a BA in Psychology from The Ohio State University and graduated from Midwestern State University with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I provide therapy for teens up to adults who are ready to explore what’s beneath the surface—whether it’s trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, or simply feeling stuck. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. You set the pace and the priorities; I offer guidance, tools, and insight to help you move toward healing and connection. My approach is grounded in understanding how the brain, body, and relationships shape our experiences. I work with compassion and curiosity, helping you recognize the strengths and survival patterns you’ve developed—and how they can evolve. Through our work, you can build new ways of coping, deepen self-awareness, and reconnect with what matters most.
