Healing isn't a destination - it's a return. A return to yourself, to the parts of you that got buried under experiences too heavy to carry alone. That's the work we do together. Trauma isn't only about what happened. It's about how it lives inside you, and what it takes to finally set it down. I'm Dayshun, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Inner Quest Health & Wellness. I specialize in trauma, which in my experience shows up far more quietly than most people expect. It doesn't always arrive as a single defining event. Often it accumulates: small moments of overwhelm, disconnection, or feeling like too much or not enough, until one day your nervous system is working so hard just to get through the day that there's nothing left for the life you actually want to live. That struggle can look like anxiety, depression, or PTSD. It can look like shutting down in relationships, difficulty being present, patterns that don't make sense but feel impossible to break. Whatever shape it takes for you, it makes sense, and it can shift. My approach is grounded in the belief that your body already knows how to heal. Using EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, IFS parts work, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness, I help you identify what's getting in the way of that natural capacity and gently, collaboratively, begin to clear it. Therapy with me is whole-person and personalized. I'll also encourage simple practices between sessions, like movement, breathwork, and visualization, that help your nervous system feel safer day by day. Outside the therapy room, you'll find me baking for the people I love and exploring the great outdoors with my husband, our golden retriever Sunny, and our orange cat Fred. You deserve care that sees all of you. If something here resonates, I'd be honored to be part of your inner quest.
