Introduction

Welcome to Kindred Mental Health LLC! Seeking professional support takes courage, and your choice to be here is deeply valued. After working for 30 years in a mental health system that often puts labels and money before people, I founded Kindred Mental Health LLC to offer a different approach. Here, you are not seen as a diagnosis or just another client to round out a bursting case load. Kindred provides a therapy space intended to promote authentic connection between you and your mental health clinician. We understand that you have unique needs. This is why therapy at Kindred is an ACTIVE process. We work together with you every step of the way, blending proven therapeutic methods to create real, lasting change. Part of the Kindred difference is the freedom and expertise to combine a hybrid of therapy modalities (including art therapy) while knowing how and where to pivot during treatment at any time. We celebrate that you are a real person, living in a complicated world, where life and relationships get messy and painful. Sometimes, we just get stuck and overwhelmed. Professional interventions can help us see things from different perspectives and reconnect our broken relationships. We do not bill insurance directly at this time for many reasons. However, we can provide you with a Superbill every session. You then send the Superbill to your insurance and they mail the reimbursement check to you. Many people do not have mental health insurance benefits, and couples and marriage therapy is often not covered by insurance, so please check with your insurance provider before seeking reimbursement. We accept online payments with credit/debit cards, Health Savings Accounts, and accept cash. No checks. At Kindred we see you, we hear you, and your trust in us is greatly valued.
