Introduction

Deborah Ward, PhD is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP #3411) and Diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP). She provides psychoeducational and school-neuropsychological evaluations for adolescents and adults, with particular expertise in adult autism spectrum evaluations and complex learning profiles. Dr. Ward’s assessment work focuses on autism spectrum conditions that persist into adulthood, learning disorders, executive functioning, and differential diagnostic questions involving attention, learning, and developmental history. She frequently collaborates with treating therapists, recognizing that therapy can be more effective when clients have a clearer understanding of their cognitive, learning, and developmental profiles. Her practice is assessment-based. Feedback and limited follow-up consultation are provided as part of the evaluation process; long-term psychological counseling is not the primary focus of her practice. Dr. Ward’s role is limited to assessment and consultation, and she does not assume ongoing treatment for clients who are already engaged in therapy. In-person assessment is required, with feedback and consultation sessions offered via telehealth when appropriate. Additional information about services and the assessment process is available at www.cohesivepsychologicalservices.com Referral inquiries from treating providers are welcome. All requests are reviewed prior to scheduling.
