Introduction

Hi, I’m Debra DaCosta, MSW, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP, founder of Safe & Seen Counseling LLC. I created this practice to provide a space where people can feel emotionally safe, understood, and genuinely supported while working toward meaningful change. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I have advanced training in ADHD and support clients in developing practical strategies for focus, emotional regulation, organization, and daily functioning. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I integrate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based approaches, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused strategies to help clients build insight, confidence, coping skills, and healthier patterns in their everyday lives. At Safe & Seen Counseling LLC, therapy is more than just talking — it’s about creating a safe space where you feel heard, empowered, and supported as you move toward healing, balance, and growth.
