Introduction

Hello, and welcome — I’m Dee Bifalco, LMSW, co-founder of Conscious Minds Counseling & Wellness. I began my career in mental health over a decade ago, driven by a deep commitment to helping people navigate trauma, life transitions, and personal growth. My journey started in traditional therapy settings, but I quickly saw how much more powerful healing can be when we combine evidence-based clinical practices with holistic approaches like mindfulness, yoga, and intentional self-reflection. At Conscious Minds, we offer two distinct types of support: • Clinical Therapy: For clients seeking mental health treatment. These services are evidence-based, diagnosis-driven when appropriate, and may be reimbursable by insurance • Wellness Services (non-clinical): For individuals seeking personal growth, stress management, or self-care strategies without entering therapy. These services are coaching and wellness focused, not mental health treatment, and do not establish a therapist-client relationship or medical record I work with a wide range of people — from high-functioning professionals and parents juggling many responsibilities to individuals feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or in crisis. One of our core beliefs at Conscious Minds is that you don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from support. In today’s world, everyone deserves a supportive space to process, heal, and grow — no labels required. Whether you’re navigating stress, burnout, postpartum transitions, or life changes, my approach is designed to meet you where you are — blending compassionate clinical support (when indicated) with practical tools and wellness strategies to restore balance and confidence. Our goal at Conscious Minds Counseling & Wellness is to create an experience that helps you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and develop skills that last long after our sessions end — always with clear boundaries about which service you’re receiving.
