Introduction

We specialize in helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health issues. Our therapy sessions are focused on cognitive processing techniques, which help clients change negative thoughts into neutral and ultimately positive thoughts that are both helpful and empowering. By addressing thought errors and promoting mindfulness, we assist our clients in taking things less personally and managing their thoughts more effectively. What is Cognitive Processing Therapy? Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a highly structured, evidence-based form of cognitive-behavioral therapy that has been specifically designed to treat individuals who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other related trauma issues. This therapeutic approach focuses intently on helping clients understand and reframe their thoughts about the traumatic event, which in turn promotes healthier perspectives and emotional responses. Utilizing exercises that specifically address negative beliefs and encourage cognitive restructuring, CPT aims to alleviate the distressing symptoms of PTSD by enabling individuals to process their experiences more effectively and integrate them into their everyday lives. This therapeutic process often includes comprehensive writing assignments and thought-provoking discussions to help clients confront their trauma while simultaneously developing valuable coping strategies and resilience for the future. FOR INDIVIDUALS Virtual Therapy: Our virtual therapy sessions offer the same high-quality care as in-person sessions but with the convenience of being able to attend from the comfort of your own home. This option is perfect for those who may not be able to visit our Lehi, UT office in person. Nature Therapy: Reconnect with nature and yourself through our nature therapy sessions. These outdoor therapy experiences are designed to help you find peace, reduce stress, and gain new perspectives on your challenges by immersing yourself in the natural world.
