Introduction

As a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, I am a multicultural therapist who enjoys working with diverse communities. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in the areas of mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, life adjustments, self-esteem, attachment issues, parenting styles, anger management, emotional/spiritual distress, and co-occurring disorders. I am open to expanding my horizon and working with individuals outside my expertise. Throughout my time as a counselor, I have utilized various approaches such as CBT, DBT, trauma-focused, person-centered, solution-focused, mindfulness, narrative therapy, art therapy, and acceptance therapy. I understand that there is no “one size fits all,” and I modify my approach according to each client’s unique needs. My aim is to provide a warm, empathetic, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can process “Hope and Healing”.
