Introduction
Sometimes it feels like our past is haunting us. We can't seem to escape the regret, guilt, shame, or trauma from our past, making it impossible to be at peace. Daily these things rob us of having joy, confidence, happiness, and healthy relationships. That's where Deidre comes in, she works with clients to create a safe space to heal from the past and create a new normal of healthy relationships, positive coping skills, and increased confidence and self-worth. Deidre is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for helping women release themselves from the strong holds of bondage due to depression, anxiety, trauma, and low-self esteem. Deidre also works with couples to help strengthen their relationships and overcome marital challenges. Deidre uses a person centered and real world approach to help clients challenge past patterns and cycles that keep them from living their lives in the way they desire. As there is no single approach to fit every individual Deidre is trained in several different settings and backgrounds to bring a holistic approach to the therapy room. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Spelman College and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine. Outside of the therapy room, Deidre enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
