My path to social work began with grief. A few years before graduate school, I lost two people who meant the world to me, and that season stripped away the noise and taught me the slow, quiet work of healing. Healing isn't about returning to who we were. It's about allowing ourselves to grow into someone new. I bring that belief into every session, along with a quiet, grounding energy that lets people take a deep breath and simply be. Clients tell me I'm warm, genuine, and easy to talk to, and that they feel seen, heard, and respected. I work with individuals and couples, and whether we're exploring grief, burnout, your relationship, or the process of rediscovering yourself, we'll unpack what's heavy while still finding moments of light and laughter along the way. My work is guided by the principle of Sankofa, the courage to look back, honor where we've been, and carry that wisdom forward. As a Black woman, I hold a special intention to create a safe, affirming space for the Black community, and I'm committed to expanding access to care in rural areas where support can be hard to find. My practice is gender-affirming, inclusive, and spiritual but not religious. I've supported people through hospice care and recovery-oriented treatment, and I draw on Motivational Interviewing, CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches. Healing is not linear, and you never have to walk it alone. Sessions are telehealth across Oklahoma. Schedule a consultation and let's take the first step together.
