Introduction

Hey there, so glad you're here. I'm just a human that's passionate about helping other humans and have had the privilege of doing so as a therapist since 2012. I work with individuals to overcome obstacles to their well-being by fostering self-acceptance and authenticity in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and that within you lies an innate capacity for growth and healing. Therapy sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs and goals, integrating Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I specialize in working with individuals impacted by anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and self-worth, eating disorders, eating/food related challenges, body image distress, weight-based stigma, and perfectionism. I am committed to being a weight inclusive provider that promotes holistic health, intuitive eating, body acceptance, and joyful movement. It's a messy, beautiful business being human. Here, you are invited to bring your whole self- the contradictions, uncertainties, and strengths (yep, those are there too). Together we can explore your truth, rediscover your agency, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and authentically you. If you are curious, let's schedule a free 20-minute consultation to see if we might be a good fit. Note on insurance: I am an in-network provider with BCBS and Aetna, however, I am also happy to file for any out-of-network benefits on your behalf with any other insurance provider.
