Introduction

Denise Chain, M.S., NCC, CTP (she/her/hers) earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Neumann University and her Master of Science from Neumann’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She earned her Reiki Master level in 2020. It was Denise’s work as chaplain to the Neumann University women’s volleyball team that inspired her to pursue counseling as a career. She works with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma, relational trauma, attachment and betrayal trauma, grief and loss, shame, PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, and more. She has gained experience helping individuals navigate their way through unique and diverse challenges, situations, and life transitions. Denise’s focus is on helping individuals heal suffering through empathy and compassion and emphasizes trust and transparency as avenues to building a strong therapeutic relationship.
