Introduction

Hello and welcome. My name is Denna M. Gilot, LMHC, and I am the Founder and Clinical Director of Inner Mind Development Group, LLC. I became a mental health counselor out of a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and confidence. My journey into this work began with a passion for understanding human behavior, emotional wellness, and the systems that shape our lives—both personally and professionally. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, and adjustment-related challenges. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals involved with complex systems, including healthcare, guardianship, and community-based services. My approach is client-centered, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices, while always honoring each client’s lived experience, strengths, and goals. In treatment, I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Together, we work to build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop practical strategies that promote long-term well-being. I believe therapy should be collaborative and meaningful—helping clients not only manage symptoms, but also gain insight, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. My goal is to help you move forward feeling supported, understood, and equipped with tools that create lasting change. Whether you are seeking therapy for the first time or returning to care, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward growth and healing.
