Introduction

Dennis Crookedacre | Licensed Counselor in Tulsa & Broken Arrow Clients enjoy partnering with me to figure out their path forward. Many clients regain a new sense of hope as together we look at the present and the past to uncover the components contributing to feeling stuck. I am an active listener, helping clients find and exercise their voice. Every challenge is important and deserves careful consideration. As a dedicated therapist in the Tulsa area, I work with "young and old" alike. My clinical experience covers a wide range of needs, including ADHD challenges, anxiety, depression, and communication pitfalls, as well as the full gamut of marital and family frustrations. Relatable Experience & Background Originally from Michigan, my family moved across the country to Tulsa in 2009. Being married for 49 years with two adult children, two grandchildren, and aging parents has provided me with relatable life experiences that I bring into every counseling session. Whether you are navigating career changes or family transitions, I understand the complexities of life’s unique journeys. My Therapeutic Approach I am thrilled to come alongside folks to address their particular challenges together. Many have described our time in session as a safe space, free of judgment, where they truly feel heard. My approach focuses on: Goal-Oriented Care: Determining your specific wants, needs, and goals. Clinical Expertise: I have experience in both inpatient hospital and clinical outpatient settings. Cultural Sensitivity: I am a culturally sensitive practitioner who respects your unique story and values. Faith-Integrated Counseling: I can incorporate religion and spirituality for those seeking to include a focus on their higher power and faith journey. By nature, I am an inquisitive listener, an energetic encourager, and a humorous ally. It is my honor to develop trust and serve as your counselor in Broken Arrow and Tulsa. Let’s connect and get your journey moving forward toward success and resolve.
