Whether you’re confronting depression, anxiety, addiction, shame, life transitions, or another form of suffering, I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward a more connected and meaningful life. As a therapist, I work from a trauma-informed, collaborative foundation that centers your values and lived experience. My approach draws upon mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed practices, all tailored to meet your unique goals. I have experience supporting people navigating their relationship with substances or addictive behaviors, LGBTQ+ individuals, and folks living with disabilities. I'm a kink-aware and sex-positive professional, affirming of both monogamous and non-monogamous relationship structures. I also specialize in working with artists, musicians, and creatives around the issues of identity, performance anxiety, perfectionism, and the pressure to constantly “achieve.” Before becoming a therapist, I worked professionally as a performer and composer of classical and contemporary music. I often draw on the parallels between creative work and healing: both require vulnerability, flexibility, and a deep connection to purpose. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for change, I'm here to walk with you as you reconnect with what matters most. -- I am a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #19797) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, supervised by Hannah Bystritsky (LCSW #100596) and employed by Hannah Bystritsky Johnson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Inc.
