I believe counseling is most effective when it feels less like an appointment and more like a partnership. My role isn't to tell people how to live their lives—it's to walk alongside them as we work together to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. I primarily work with boys (ages 8 and up), teenagers, college students, and adult men. Over the years, I've discovered that many young men communicate and process emotions differently than traditional counseling often allows. They don't always open up by simply sitting across from someone and talking. They often connect through shared experiences and meaningful interaction. Because of that, my counseling style is collaborative, engaging, and interactive. Depending on the client's interests and goals, sessions may include playing video games, music, virtual reality experiences, or even a driving simulator. These activities aren't distractions from therapy—they're intentional tools that help lower defenses, build trust, and create space for genuine conversation and personal growth. At the heart of my work is the belief that every client deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I don't see the people I work with as patients to be fixed. I see them as capable individuals with unique strengths, stories, and the ability to grow. Together, we identify challenges, develop practical strategies, and work toward a life marked by greater confidence, healthier relationships, and renewed hope. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to provide a safe, encouraging environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to move forward. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people during some of life's most challenging seasons, and I look forward to helping you discover the hope and healing that meaningful relationships can bring.
