I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of South Florida, and am currently working on my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling there too. My goal is to create a space that fosters healing and self-discovery, where my clients can not only work on growth edges but also unearth strengths they didn’t know they had. My approach to therapy centers on collaboration. I see you as the expert of your story, so rather than focusing on giving advice, I will walk alongside you as you explore different paths to find the one that works best for you. I want you to have an active role in guiding the direction of the work we do so you can get the most out of our time together. I also know that culture, family background, and personality play an important role in our lives, so I continually factor these in to make sure the suggestions I offer feel realistic for your unique circumstances. I use an approach that is mainly person-centered, but I incorporate techniques from narrative therapy and feminist therapy based on what aligns best with your needs. Navigating life’s challenges can feel heavy, so my aim is to provide you with an open and comforting environment where you can share what’s been weighing on you. Being trusted with these thoughts and experiences is a privilege, and I deeply value the opportunity to support you in your journey of learning more about who you are and who you’re working towards becoming.
